WHAT AM I UP TO?

ADVANCED SCENE STUDY & REEL CONTENT!!

Are you looking to make the transitions to on-camera work? Do you need content for your reel?  Maybe you just want to sink your teeth into some serious scene work?

  • ZOOM ADVANCED SCENE STUDY (Plus Reel Material)

  • with Erin Roberts

  • $350 per student (payment plans are available)

  • 8 Sessions (7 virtually) ~ JAN/FEB 2021 (TBD)

  • Limited to 8 experienced actors.

  • *$100 deposit will be required to hold your place.

During 8 sessions, a limited group of experienced actors will spend time virtually exploring relationship, circumstance,  and conflict, with a scene partner, infusing a neutral text with stakes and intention. Using moment to moment work, we will analyze the essential and vital skills of powerful, confident acting while applying it to the physical constraints and intimacy of the camera.  The final class will be in person, at a COVID SAFE studio and will be shot by the amazing WHEEL*HOUSE CREATIVE Production Co.  Actors  will receive a copy of their professionally shot scene and ALL  scenes will be edited together into a short film. Both can be used for personal promotion and possible distribution.

Please send headshots and resumes to Erin at ophelia3000@gmail.com for submission sides.

Recent testimonials:

Erin has made the switch from in person to virtual seamlessly. I continuously feel supported by her and she is so passionate about her students that I can feel her presence in the room even though we are talking through a computer screen. She is so knowledgeable about what she does and has and is so good at motivating and encouraging her students to get out there and do their thing! I've grown so much since working with Erin and am grateful to continue to have her guidance. -Ashley Hovell (Virtual Monologue Intensive SPRING 2020)

Erin stands out as a teacher because of how deeply she cares. In an online setting where we all can struggle to connect, she made me feel like we were in the same room together.  Erin doesn't just want students to learn new text or improve their craft (although she does want that, too.) More than that, she also wants to make sure you see your own solid improvement, that you sharpen the unique talent you possess as an individual, and that you leave knowing you've tapped your potential, with concrete plans to keep moving forward-and that you really believe it. Because she makes it clear that she gives a damn about you as a working artist, and that's pretty special -Michael Quadrozzi (Virtual Monologue Intensive SPRING 2020)

Erin's on-camera course was extremely helpful! I enjoyed the relaxed non-competitive atmosphere and loved how much work we did with copy both self-taped and cold-reading. It set me up for success in this new era of self-submissions and I've actually gotten callbacks since taking her course! -Mandi Bedbury (Virtual Commercial Audition Class FALL 2020)
